Indigo Padded Shirt - M Unisex

The comfiest thing I have made so far!

This shirt is patchworked cotton indigo fabrics from second hand shirts, the colour will fade and change with time but if you wash on a cold cycle or hand wash it will preserve the fabrics for longer (this goes for all your clothes).

There are 3 layers to this shirt the outer patchwork, the lining, then inbetween there is a layer of flannel making it cosy for winter!

The main shell took me a good few days to make as I went about it in a way that was truly not practical but it meant I didn't need to sew it onto a backing layer giving it more fluidity once the new fabric was complete. I chose to not have a side seam so that the patchwork can be seen wrapped around the whole bodice too. 

Wear on its own or layer over a tshirt, add a tie on collar for more texture :)
